hmmm... you yourself are not positive thinker... you discuss with lot of people to find the correct way/answer

They might give some over time but I would not hold my breath for too long. You will need to filter what they say. A positive might just be only being half as negative as they are most of the time.

Depends if the person is capable of being impartial and objective. Nobody can be entirely objective but if you try one can give valuable point of view. Even if an opinion is mean and unfounded you can still find some use for it.

It may not be positive, but it can still be usefull. Consider the source, but also consider that it may be your interpretation that they don't like you. If you hear the same thing from many people, it may be true.
