It seems that many Christians are so fascinated with blood and death that it is all they think about when it comes to Jesus. Have Christians actually missed the point. Jesus said to love one another, yet I see so many Christians behaving in a bigoted way. So, are his instructions the key to salvation instead of his death?

Jesus teachings are the Word. They were his gift.

Very true.

Ministry is a double-edged sword in this department. We are supposed to show Christ's love to the world, and at the same time preach that what the world believes and does is wrong. In the same thought we are trying to emulate love and still condemn.

So I don't think that Christians have necessarily missed the point. It's just frustrating to know exactly where the line is between ministering and judging. And since that line will be different for each person we minister to, we get lazy and just treat them all the same instead of catering our testimony to the individual.

In answer to your question, his death (and resurrection) is what leads to our salvation, but his life is the example we are to follow while we are here on earth.

Niether, the key to salvation is that he took my sins, and conquered death. He lived a lowly life, so that we may life eternally in heaven. We should love one another, but we should also try to save the lost, because thats showing REAL love. Most people do think Christians are narrow minded and intolerant, because we know the standards Christ set by the life he lived, and despite the ways of the world, we can see the sins that are slowly becoming acceptable, such as adultery, homosexuality, stealing, lying, cheating. Its all so common now, people get mad when We speak out against it.

The scourging of Jesus, which ripped his flesh down to the bone and peeled the skin from his body, should also be thought of as blood spilled for humanity. He took on the sins of the world when he was nailed to the cross, died, and was resurrected. Christianity is based on the Son of God giving his life to save mankind. If you want a blood cult, become a Satanist.

This is the fact: Jesus was the propitiation for sins at His death. It is the belief in Him and the fact of His resurrection that makes it all true. God resurrected the sacrifice, and the promise is that we too will be raised from the dead.

Before Jesus died, He promised the Holy Spirit to live in us and instruct us. And I am here to tell you that He delivered on His promise.

I had to answer you in this way in order to tell you the truth. It seems that you line of questioning was a bit . . . dissonant to the answer that I needed to give.

I hope that helps you to know the truth, if you are the kind who are really interested in the answer.

Jesus's death did nothing for anybody, it was the resurrection that provides the means for us to be saved from a physical death. It was his taking on of our sins in the garden that takes away our sins. It was his teachings that provides us the way to come to know him and accept him...

Jesus shed his blood for us,and he died for us so that we can have eternal life,be saved, but we have to admit that we are sinners and come short of the glory of God,we have to except Jesus as our Lord and saviour before we can be saved.Gods word is a guide to live by.I dont know exactly what you are asking but have you ever heard that song what can wash your sins away, nothing but the blood of Jesus.

Why blood? coz in blood there is a soul. Jesus's was not a ordinary blood. That was holy blood/soul which is God's.
By this blood, the relationship between human and God which was broken when Adam & Eve get sin, continued. Thats why human must receive and believe will be safe in Jesus.
In the spirit dimesion there was a law. When He died, Satan couldnt touch Him coz He is God. Satan didnt know this Gods plan.

I can see the paradigm of Christ actually helping some but not in the spirit of gulibility as gods only way. When you eat do you taste the fork or the food ? Christ's spiritual food might need some seasoning but it has some merit even if it is myth.

Both because salvation, and His instructions wouldn't have came to people without His life and resurrection.
