There are several versions of Linux, excellent operating systems, Linux is all Free Operating system this in cludes all the software you will ever need, Office, Photo editing, DVD/Cd Burning Game's networking, there is something like 20,000 free software packages

Linux out shines Windows Vista Ultimate it is more secure, faster, and far more powerful than Microsoft..

Go to youtube.com and type in the search bar .. Linux, watch all the video clips and you will see what the difference is, you will be surprised...

Plus you can download all the tutorials for the operating system and for every program, the support is second to none.

you can run Linux from the CD without installing it on to your hard drive, until you get to know it, You can run all the programs from the CD, and you can get on the internet running linux from the CD only.

**linux already can soport ubs3.0 and it hasent came out **yet better effect **less money wen my windows machine get messed up iand i dont fell like i have time for it i have to pay usualy 90 or 80 for it if my linux machine gets messed up i always have a little cd **windows has somany virtus its not even funny linux doesnt have any virus then coputer im using on linux is 7 years old and it working better then my windows wich i just got like 2and half years ago **a new version of a distro comes out every6 month not like windows every 5-67 years **and u say 98% computer have linux well wen u go to a store or buy online to buy anew computer what operating system does it have windows also alot of people are scared cause they think its gonna be hard to run linux wen i first tried it was good and its easy it all depend which 1 u try like ubuntu for me i would never run it on my computer not even if i got paid like if u try vista and ur used to xp u might not like it it depends for me linux is better but i run windows cause linux doesnt have shockwave that is the only reason if not windows woulnt be on any comp i use

Theres are not that many OS's out there I only know 3
Vista, Linux, and Mac OSX
Vista is an upgraded version of XP which some people don't like because of their security programs
Linux is an open source OS which has many sub versions, like Fiesty Fawn, Redhat, Edgy, its free...
Mac OSX is only for apple for computers, but its been installed on other PCs...dont know much about this haven't used a mac before

linux-never tryed it
i dont know any others except xp,vista,etc. but you dont want windows
