Global warming is all around us and here's a example, Every year we harvest billion gallons of oil from the earth, to run our cars, homes, ect, ect. Burning fossil fuel harm our atmosphere and we are just creating the green house. The greenhouse effect is the rise in temperature that the Earth experiences because certain gases in the atmosphere (water vapor, carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide, and methane, for example) trap energy from the sun. Without these gases, heat would escape back into space and Earth’s average temperature would be about 60ºF colder. Because of how they warm our world, these gases are referred to as greenhouse gases.
Here's a few ways we can stop it by solar power, wind power, water current, and other forms natural renewables.

when more CO2 than the earth can get rid of goes into the atmosphere, it blends with water vapor in the air & comes down with the rain (acid rain).

the acid rain (which is literally, acidic rain) combines with natural bodies of water (oceans, lakes, etc) & produces heat. all hydration reactions are exothermic, meaning they produce heat. this means that when the acid rain hits the water and mixes chemically, it produces heat.

so the more excess CO2, the more heat. and cars produce phat amounts of carbon dioxide (CO2) so they actually DO contribute to global warming. but i love cars so lets not get rid of em...

so using that info... do what you can to personally lower the amount of stuff youre burning. maybe get some people together and try and get a local factory to get more environment friendly emissions stuffs... dont drive when you can walk.

=D
