First..yes I believe that all Christians believe in God..because if not well they wouldn't be Christians..
However, I do not believe that everyone who believes in God and Claims to be a Christian is... I believe that priests/pastors who molest children are wolves in sheeps clothing, whose religious "aspirations" were predatory not genuine, and that they probably were not Christians to begin with same as some teachers..they teach so they can be an autoratative figure and pray on kids...
Jim and Tammy Faye Baker, I believe that while Jim really messed up with the whole PTL thing (I think Tammy was in the dark about most of it) that while he was in jail he truly repented..I do not know if you have heard or seen any of his recent interviews, but that is a changed man who is serving the Lord...please remember we are Christians, and we are saved but we are faaaaaaaar from perfect..we struggle to.
Lastly the Lord wants us to prosper..we are not all called to be destitute..now there are some who are scammers..that is with any "business" and some people do see church as business...but many of the "big" churches and pastors, did not start out or anticipate making the money that they do..and as long as they are not neglecting their church, and missions, and such..then who cares if they are blessed (I think a lot of them make money from book deals not from the tithes and offerings)...They should be able to retire and be comfortable there is nothing in the Bible that says they shouldn't...Now if it interfers with their walk with the Lord, or they put
"their "money in front of him, well then that is Wrong and trust me the Lord giveth and the Lord can taketh away..and he will deal with them. So yeah, I believe they believe in God.

So what you're asking is if there are higher ups in the various churches who might secretly believe god doesn't exist but carry on anyways because they derive wealth, status and power?
Very probably not. Keeping up such an appearance would be extremely difficult unless one were a complete sociopath, and frankly most sociopaths are interested in more lucrative enterprise (churches are so minuscule as to be nonexistent economically). But of course anything is possible.
However, it is very likely that some church leaders have a different set of beliefs than what comes down from their pulpits every Sunday. Or at the very least a different emphasis of beliefs, certain things being more important to themselves than what they think is important to be emphasized to their parishioners. Even Mother Teresa had an ego and a vagina.
For some reason a certain saying comes to mind, "If you like sausage..."

It's none of my business what other people do with their money. I would especially be cautious with pastors. God put them there, and if they are misbehaving then they have to speak to God Himself about it.
Why do people want to know these things? ( Sheesh! )
I am NOT God's police force!
I hope that every pastor in the whole Freaking World has more money than they know what to do with. And I hope that they drive a Lamborghini, just to show it off.
As far as priests molesting children, that is terrible. But once again, God can deal with them. Perhaps the Black Mass that was held in the Vatican had repercussions, I don't know. God will deal with them too. Perhaps He already is.

You know my pastor coverd this a few weeks ago actually, I will try to relate what he said to your question. It's not how much you "tote the Bible" (a very accurate description for what some do sadly) that makes one a true christian it's having a good understanding of the Bible in your life and following a wholesome life style. Believing in God is part of it but not all of it. Some still have faults of course, we are only human but God will be the one to judge them not us.

A Christian IS someone who believes in God; so by definition, all Christians believe.
Is everyone claiming to be a Christian telling the truth? Eh...No.
Jesus said "By their fruits you shall know them."
So if a priest says: "Praise the Lord little boy. Now drop your pants." it's a pretty good bet he's failed to grasp the teachings of Christ.
It's like asking if all Patriots love their country.
Of course they do. That's what a Patriot is.
Is everyone claiming to be a Patriot, telling the truth?
Certainly Not.

I believe they do believe in God, but abuse their beliefs in gaining advantage of their followers. Not all do these evil things and just because someone drives a nice car or owns a big house is not necessarily evil or have achieved it by ill gotten gains. Many gain it through hard work and business savvy while maintaining there beliefs in God. We are human, and prone to sin and mistakes. That is why we have repentance through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
PS: If anyone says that they were a Christian while not believing in God is a contradiction in terms. All who claim to be Christian has to believe in God or their belief system is a lie to themselves. The first and foremost importance of a Christians testimony is that Jesus is the Son of God.

That opens up the whole "Real" Christian question again.
I think that there are frauds and con artists where ever money and power can concentrate. Religion and politics will always attract corrupt individuals.
I think the Bakkers were a bit naive about the politics of greed and as a result got done over very nicely by Swaggart and Robertson.

The Bible says, there are many who “are called ‘gods,’ whether in heaven or on earth, just as there are many ‘gods’ and many ‘lords.’” (1 Corinthians 8:5) Through the ages mankind has worshiped a multitude of gods. There have been gods of fertility, of love, of war, and of wine and revelry. In the Hindu religion alone, gods number into the millions.
Carrying a Bible is No guarantee that the person believes it.

Do Christians believe in God? - YES!
Does that mean that they are perfect and will never sin - NO!
I have faith in my salvation through Jesus, however that doesn't mean that I am not tempted to do wrong. In fact I do wrong everyday.
However something that also needs to be considered is that Jesus told us that there would be those who called him Lord, who are not true believers, and these people will not be saved come the judgement - which in effect means that there are people out there who say they are Christians, who are in fact not, and thus probably don't believe in God.

I think most of those people do believe in God and Christ.
Just because someone is a Christian and believes in God, it does not mean that that always will act in a way that will please God.
It's all about sin. Sins that don't have some feel good effects aren't very tempting. Think drugs or illicit sex. They feel good at the time but are deviating in the end.
