Windows comes with movie maker and mac comes with imovie. pretty straight forward you keep one audio track with your music and you can drop other things like pictures into the video track. drop in some alternate camera angles and such. It is tricky but doable. Macs come with better free movie making software which needs almost no training and can export directly to YouTube. on the Microsoft side check out http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/moviemaker/default.mspx

try windows movie maker... it's easier to manipulate, all the videos, pictures and audios....
