i'm being charged $390 a month for child support right, i just got a new job that only pays $9 dollars an hour. i realize when you have a child you have responsibility but is there any way i can do something bout the high payments? why do some people pay $200 hundered a month and some pay $390?

It is based on where you live, the cost of living, and how much it takes to raise a child. Not to mention it also depends on your ability to pay (that is why celebrities pay thousands of dollars a month)

I don`t know but if you find out cuz my man has a baby by another women an he has to pay $450 a month we have a daughter of our own, plus we have a little girl on the way I hard but I love him an I am going to stand by him no matter what it takes us through.I will never leave him.It make things pretty tight but he`s worth it.You know I thought child support was real tough but taking care of a child is really hard we make it in this world with to daughters an one on the way an right now even after paying child support we never get to see his other daughter were trying to get custudy of her though. well hope everything works out for you .: (

If you make less money now than you did before you can go back to court and get the amount of support reduced.

depends on the job and how much you make alot of times....go back to court and talk with the judge they will explain it to you...I know child support has a long way to go for guys....they get a bad rap....do not take what gets dished out to you...fight back...goodluck and may God bless...I know all about this stuff my son gets a bum rap also...its crazy...
