Are you sure he didn't say "Roll Dawg"? My friend and I have this joke where he calls me his roll dog. It's like saying you're the friend he "rolls" or hangs out with all the time. =P It's kind of ridiculous, but it's a joke between us. It's usually said when we're incredibly drunk and he tells me how I'm his best friend.

Dont know for sure but it may mean that if she is taking a road trip you are always there for him to go with him.
