Thanks for the answers to this type of question. What I have learned is that God didn't command rape but commanded the warriors to take virgins for wives. And to kill the others in some situations. Sort of a slave wife, I guess. This seems like rape, but the nations they overtook were ones who were evil already in idolatries, sexual sins & murders. And mostly this is the land of Cannan. That is the only land Israel took over. And is Israel today. As this is the promise land that the LORD God of Abraham, Isaac & Israel promised to Israeli people. To Ishmael he was blessed a great nation & that would be other land. So? If you look at a map, Israel is a much smaller land than what Ishmael discendents have. Hagar was an Egyptian woman by the way.
Also, to understand that much of the scripture provided in answers isn't the LORDs command but peoples doing & I am specifically asking what the LORD commanded.

If you comment on what I just wrote, you might get best answer?

yeow, The Isaiah verse is talking about the future when Gods wrath is poured. And the Zechariah is shortly before Jesus returns & the Mt. of Olives divides. When the nations will attack Israel again at the end of the wrath of the tribulation. And then, also a judgment on false prophets before that. After the attack on Israel then Jesus returns He will fight against those nations. The Lord comes with all His Saints.

Wow.

They attacked Midian just as the LORD had commanded Moses, and they killed all the men. All five of the Midianite kings – Evi, Rekem, Zur, Hur, and Reba – died in the battle. They also killed Balaam son of Beor with the sword. Then the Israelite army captured the Midianite women and children and seized their cattle and flocks and all their wealth as plunder. They burned all the towns and villages where the Midianites had lived. After they had gathered the plunder and captives, both people and animals, they brought them all to Moses and Eleazar the priest, and to the whole community of Israel, which was camped on the plains of Moab beside the Jordan River, across from Jericho.

Moses, Eleazar the priest, and all the leaders of the people went to meet them outside the camp. But Moses was furious with all the military commanders who had returned from the battle. "Why have you let all the women live?" he demanded. "These are the very ones who followed Balaam's advice and caused the people of Israel to rebel against the LORD at Mount Peor. They are the ones who caused the plague to strike the LORD's people. Now kill all the boys and all the women who have slept with a man. Only the young girls who are virgins may live; you may keep them for yourselves.

Numbers 31:7-18

Yes.
Judges 21:10-24, urging the Israelites to commit murder, rape, and pillaging at Jabesh-gilead
Judges 5:30 (how to divide up the women captured in battle for GUESS WHAT? Here's a clue, it's not patty-cake.)
Numbers 31:7-18 The genocidal murder, pillaging, and rape of the citizens of Midian
Deuteronomy 20:10-14 (murder AND rape)
Deuteronomy 21:10-14 Once again God approves of forcible rape
Zechariah 14:1-2 God swearing to assist in rape and plunder:
Lo, a day shall come for the Lord when the spoils shall be divided in your midst. And I will gather all the nations against Jerusalem for battle: the city shall be taken, houses plundered, women ravished; half of the city shall go into exile, but the rest of the people shall not be removed from the city.

Moses did so under the direction of the lord

Numbers 31

31:15 And Moses said unto them, Have ye saved all the women alive?
31:16 Behold, these caused the children of Israel, through the counsel of Balaam, to commit trespass against the LORD in the matter of Peor, and there was a plague among the congregation of the LORD.
31:17 Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him.
Moses tells the Israelites to kill every male and all the non-virgin females, but to keep the virgins for themselves.
Is it wrong to commit adultery?
31:18 But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves.

What exactly were these me going to do with the virgin girls ?

Never. Rape is a sexual sin - amoung other things. It goes against His very nature to command such a thing. However he does allow many things to go on. Take for instance Dinah in the bible. She was Jacob daughter - I believe- and she was raped at a party. After that to keep the peace Jac gave her away to her rapist to marry. After that Dinah's brothers were so upset they killed the whole village. For the actual story go to bible.com.

The OT is full of stories where God would command his people to go commit genocide against some other group of people. In the process, God's chosen people would often rape the women. All you have to do is read your OT. It is right there in plain English.

Not that I know of, but there was that one time that god's beloved David committed adultery with Bathsheba and had her husband sent out on the front lines to die in battle.

Yet David was still "a man after god's own heart", which seriously causes me to question "god's" morals.

No. The Word of God calls it, "a thing that should not be done."

Genesis 34
5 When Jacob heard that his daughter Dinah had been defiled, his sons were in the fields with his livestock; so he kept quiet about it until they came home.

6 Then Shechem's father Hamor went out to talk with Jacob. 7 Now Jacob's sons had come in from the fields as soon as they heard what had happened. They were filled with grief and fury, because Shechem had done a disgraceful thing in Israel by lying with Jacob's daughter—a thing that should not be done.

2 Samuel 13
12 "Don't, my brother!" she said to him. "Don't force me. Such a thing should not be done in Israel! Don't do this wicked thing. 13 What about me? Where could I get rid of my disgrace? And what about you? You would be like one of the wicked fools in Israel. Please speak to the king; he will not keep me from being married to you." 14 But he refused to listen to her, and since he was stronger than she, he raped her.

15 Then Amnon hated her with intense hatred. In fact, he hated her more than he had loved her. Amnon said to her, "Get up and get out!"
