what is the real reasons Iran may be trying to develop nuclear weapons?

Why Iran wants to get their hands into nuclear things ?
Simple, cuz :
1. Iran want to protect their land, principles, and their people from any threat, especially by any unjustified threat that had come upon his unfortunate rival, Iraq
By having some powerfull weapon, Iran think that it will be safe

2. Iran want to raise his influence in the world cuz any country that had nuclears, especially if a lot of nuclears, u can had pretty much influence in this world
Now his rival & bitter enemies is gone, so Iran think its the time to make a move & make their country even greater in term of military & political influence
Don't forget that they comes from the Persian Legacy, which one of the biggest kingdom in the past world too

3. By having nuclear,its like a safety insurance against any direct & unjustified threat by any other country, especially from USA as one of Iran nemesis

4. By having nuclears, its not only just safety insurance too, but its a some valuable point & things that can be made to raise their bargain to getting some valuable & financial help fro any other countries that feared their nuclear weaponry

5. Iran want to threatens all of his nemesis, espeically in the Middle East, Israel that had so many nukes too

6. Bu having nuclears, Iran can be so proud to be categorized as one of the supreme country in this world & its truly bring a lof of diplomacy & political power, especially in Middle East

But is it true that Iran have some nukes or have the capability to make some nukes ?
Nobody knows that despite they absolutely had the capability to make some nuclear device & nuclear plant

There aren't any valid reasons for Iran to develop such weapons from either the angle of threat-perception or it's political role in the international affairs. It's some thing akin to an Islamic Bomb, a show piece for the sake of a false sense of superiority.Assuming they have it,can they ever think to use it and if yes,then what cost to themselves?Gone are the days when nuclear powers were feared and even respected.On the contrary,Iran shall find it a big liability for it's possession ,security of it's weapon systems from extreme groups and erratic use.Political system in Iran is not mature and stable to to handle the attendant functions of a nuclear power state.

The only seats at important world talks are given to nuclear powers. If Iran wants any foot on the world stage they need to have that power available to them. The world is ruled by five countries not because they are the best rulers... but because might makes right. Iran has views contrary to those powers and without their own voice they will eventually be extinguished.

It is merely a culture trying to survive that would otherwise be doomed. survival of the fittest.

Once you are a nuclear power, you are put on the special list of countries that can't be attacked.
Look at North Korea and it's big brother China, you think they'd still be here if it wasn't for the nuclear threat?

Let's assume for the sake of argument that the U.S. did not currently have nuclear weapons but had the capability of developing them. Now, what if a sworn enemy of the U.S. had already invaded Canada and Mexico and successfully toppled those governments with the intent of installing their own type of government? On top of that, this enemy called our beloved U.S. one of the three members of the "Axis of Evil".
