It doesn't sound like skin cancer to me but go to a doc to be sure.

Sounds like a mole or a small skin wart.

NOTE: cancer doesn't hurt which is why so many people don't go and get things checked out for early detection which is a helluva lot easer to deal with and get past in life than when it's advanced. Advanced cancer does hurt but by the time it does, you're into pain managment on your way out and there's not much anybody can do to help you.
So just because it doesn't hurt, that means nothing really.

You should definately get this checked out. I had skin cancer 2 years ago. My cancer was not typical either. It was symmetrical, it was light in colour, not raised...the dr didn't know what exactly it was but took a biopsy just in case. It turned out it was a basal cell. She removed it right there in the office, it was a very scary experience but I am sooo glad that she caught it.

Doesn't sound like cancer, Cancer is usually asymmetrical not symmetrical and is usually variegated in color, the hair sounds strange, so check it out with a dermatologist.

Hair is a good thing... I think because cancer kills living cells and therefore hair growth means no cancer...? You should be fine

Sounds like a wart or mole. If its changing in size or form its best to get it checked then.

This could be a mold only. Show it to your doctor to be on the safe side. Take care!
