No, they both contain Rum. That's about it!
THE original authentic recipe from Havana Cuba::
1 teaspoon powdered sugar
Juice from 1 lime (2 ounces)
4 mint leaves
1 sprig of mint
Havana Club white Rum (2 ounces)
2 ounces club soda
Daquiris have light rum, triple sec, lime juice and sugar.

It's a big difference!! Because in Mojito we use Havana Club while Daiquiri we ase using Bacardi. and besides Mojito has Fresh mint leaves you muddled it with demerara sugar.

some of the ingredients are the same
sugar - rum - lime juice
but they are very different drinks
mojitos - fresh mint leaves & fresh limes crush with some sugar then add rum & soda some places they add sprite or a bit of both
daiquiri- is lime juice ( not necesarily fresh ) sugar & rum over crushed ice and shaken, that is just the basic recipe then you have all kind of variations adding extra flavors to make mago, strawberries, peach, orange daiquiries etc etc etc

It is mo he toe A mojito has rum in it and is generally a liquid drink and is minty. A daiquiri is also a rum based drink and can be made with various fruits and is a frozen slushy type of drink. A margarita is a tequila based drink and can be made with various fruits. Margaritas can be on the rocks (liquid) or frozen (slushy) and the glasses are rimmed either with salt or sugar.

The difference is the mint - there is no mint in your standard daiquiri.
