You can't. No alcoholic or addict of any kind will quit until they are ready to accept and admit that they have a problem. That's the first of AA's famous 12 steps.
I'd recommend that you look into Al-Anon, a group for friends and loved ones of alcoholics. It can help you to learn how to cope with your loved one's alcoholism, to understand what you can and cannot do about it, and to live with these things.
The only person who can make a change in a person is the person themselves.

you cant make someone quit but you can let the know you are concerned about them, support them by not drinking yourself and by going to AA meetings together, maby go to a church service in your community reach out there are many resources and willing soles to help, the disease is not looking for males or females it knows no gender. I know i have 11 years clean and my god never gave up on me, I'm soooo grateful to be sober. my worst day sober is better than any day drunk!!

You can't unless she wants to quit. Supporting her decisions is the best help you can give her. Helping alcoholics is the hardest thing to do, as it normally becomes violent.
Make sure you call your local government services for information on places that can help her, and urge her to go to counselling.

You can't get anyone - male or female - to stop drinking until they want to. I wish I could be more helpful and encouraging - but that's the truth of the matter.

Rehab is the best, but also getting rid of temptation, take away the alcohol and don't go to places that sells it.
get in the habit of buying favored water or something, sometimes it just takes an example and others follow

Go to AA with her. You can't do anything for her but be supportive; she has to make the decision.
If she is a severe alcoholic, she will most likely need to have medically supervised detox in a rehab facility.

You can't. Only an alcoholic can help themselves.
Go to an Alanon meeting or two, so you're better informed about what you and your friend are up against.

you cant force anyone to quit until they are ready. Just be a freind and find some local AA meetings. hearing them may put a realization in her head. a helpful tip would be never argue or try to convince them when they are drunk.
