They have lowered the living pay wage -- willing to work for meager pay. However, you also get what you pay for. The service industry, fast food, restaurants, and even the hotel industry is beginning to slip. Non-English speaking OR barely English speaking employees, sloppy or non-existent work ethic -- Americans are getting fed up. Stop patronizing these establishments -- they will get the message and hire Americans; even if they have to pay more and make less in profits!

I think they bring wages down for unskilled labor. Jobs that used to support families (such as unskilled construction jobs) can no longer do so as illegals will do them for considerably less as they aren't paying social security taxes, federal income taxes, state taxes, insurance premiums and the like. As a result, Americans on the lower spectrum of the economic tables are struggling. Those who complain that they "can't find jobs" are probably telling the truth. It is just more profitable for contractors, landscapers, hotel managers and restaurateurs to hire illegals under the table.

You see employers of this ilk advertising for employees and complaining that "americans won't take these jobs" yet they are paying less than they did 15 years ago for the same job.

I'm glad people are waking up.

Well let's see...They ***** work! what the hell is wrong with that? All of these wimpy fellow citizens of mines are mad because they hate to see a illegal come here. Work, buy a nice house, drive a nice car, have kids..not to mention that some of them are pretty good looking ;D
They are good for the economy. It's larger more expanded and growing in employment..Looks like were just going to have to compete for that job a bit harder than usual. The way it should be! Lazy fools..(freedom of speech) aha!

If we keep flooding this nation with illegal immigrants there will not be a job market for future generations.

Personally I think it does affect our job market adversely....And alot of other things! Why is it they can come here and they can have a baby for free and we have to pay why can they come here and not pay taxes and we are paying dearly if anything we shouldn't have to pay and they should.......

my son is a printer. there are so many illegal mexicans applying for jobs that each applicant has to be checked to make sure the social security card matches the name on it.

my daughter in law is a waitress in a nice restaurant. same thing goes for her place of employment.

our local McDonald's, same thing. our local grocery store same thing.

it's like they are everywhere. two years ago there were only a hand full of them. now they are everywhere!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the signs at the dollar store are in spanish for gods' sake!!!

....or lack there of. They take the jobs, work long hours for 2 pesos a day. And what do we give them in return?? We make everything in Spanish for them so it will be easier to get around. Its nearly impossible to find a company that doesn't say "markee el numbero dose para espanol"
