Most christians are ignorant to the fact that in the Q'ran Christ is reveared as one of the most important prophets... Ignorance is a big trait of fanatical christianism. Now I can say this since I am a catholic (non-practicing) and my BF is Islamic (semi-religios though very very respectful turkish man), and we perfectly reconcile under the belief that there is one loving god and that jesus had an important message. We don't get into debates of whether or not he was the son of god. To muslims, Messiah is a messenger, a deliverer of good news. And they believe that god has had a messiah for every period in time, since before the Q'ran was written. Jesus was probably second in importance to Mohhamed to them. So we are mucho more similar than we think.... Most muslims I've met are great, peace loving folk... And sadly, they seem to follow the techings of christ (love thy neighbour) more than many christians I know. (And I'm not talking about radical islam which is just as bad as fanatical bible waving christianity). Let's not forget, Jesus didn't come here to form a religion, he came here to teach us a valuable lesson.

Because it is true. Islam recognizes Jesus as A prophet, but not THE prophet. The notion that Muslims believe that Christ will come back to kill the anti-Christ is false.

Islam says that Christ is the messiah, but not a god nor the son of god, he was a great prophet. and he didn't die on the cross...
God raised him up to him...
the one who was tortured and killed was one of the Christ's followers...
he sacrificed himself for Jesus...
so God made him look the same like jesus Christ

Because Muslims don't believe that Jesus paid the sin debt of all who would trust in Him and the sacrifice that He made for us on the cross. Because Muslims don't believe that Jesus is God's one and only Son, the lamb of God ordained to be slain before the foundation of this world.

because the way they were taught. one to hate jews and christians..this violate the ten commandment..right there.and JESUS fullfiled the ten commandment and said..here are new one..LOVE GOD.with all of your heart mind and soul..and love your neighbor as you love yourself..this is the new commandment.
what muslim been taught..is to hate..to steal..to kill and to destroy.>>DUH>.isn't that what JESUS said..what satan does???
OH OH..they are decieved!
YES..Christ is the MESSIAH..is coming back..and new testament give a ballpark of timeframe.
also said..when the CHURCH BECOME ONE..united in FAITH..
our time is short.
when signs in heaven..causing fear to others..we see it..A TICKET GOING HOME..all at once.
when is that? in this geneeration..shall see the end of the age.
THEM muslim or Jihad doing GOD a favor..is working for the WRONG GOD...ISn't GOD..big enough to take care of EVIL?
WHY has he not? HE gave US..the responsiblity IN and through CHRIST..to take care of EVIL
but..the church.don't know "HOW TO".yet.
some do..but most don't know "HOW TO".
the christians penecostal, TBN..Daystar, ect..are great resources for "ANOINTED TEACHING"..vs man ideal of religion which said..healing pass away, no power is here..blah blah..noting but heresay and B/S..they are coward and ignorance..come up HIGHER I say to you.and seE and taste the POWER OF OGD>.during worship in spirit..and YOU'll hear GOD..speak to your thoughts..and spirit.man. not all christianity are equal..some are still in first grade.some are in 6th grade.some are in high school..a few are in college and university spiritual understand and POWER.
come up higher I say to you. the harvest is HUGE and labours are few. let the spirit of GOD..be your guide..not your religion..or intellect.

I have studied the issue somewhat, (I am a Catholic), and while they do accept Jesus as the messiah (annointed one), they do not accept him as the Son of God.

So, from a Christian view-point, their understanding of Jesus Christ is not really the same as ours.

He is seen as a prophet not the Savior of the world.
