I already asked this is the martial arts section, but didn't get many answers. I'm hoping you boxers can help me out? I'm assuming it's a similar process....

How do you go about finding a sponsor and what kinds of companies should you start with? How early in your career should you start looking? What kinds of questions will they ask you and what type of information do you need to provide for them? What kinds of questions should you ask them? What is expected out of a sponsor? Any other tips/info about sponsors would be sincerely appreciated.

If you don't have a manager to take care of that I suggest you write letters or send videos to companies you would like to sponser you. You can also try local business, stores, and bars like little league baseball does. A big company that sponsers Martial Arts is Paul Mitchell hair products, you might want to give them a shot.. Hope that helps..

I assume by your avatar that you are female and young. You will not find a sponser until you turn pro and get your license to box in the state in which you want to compete. Before you try to find sponcers and not many pro boxers even have sponsers, you need a manager, or a lawyer to do your contracts. Honestly you are going about this the wrong way. Work on your skills first. Why do you want a sponser anyway?
Unless you are pro and ranked NO ONE would sponser you anyway.
But good luck to you in your boxing career.

A sponsor for what? Explain what you need sponsored. Is it like AA where you need someone to guide you? Or are you looking for financial backing of some sort?
