If this is your way of drawing people to the Lord, you are why atheists stay being atheists.

I am not an atheist. I am a believer. I know what the Bible says about how we are to treat people. I think you might need to study it a little bit more so you don't do things that are contrary to how God wants us to live.

Use a lie detector. Even then you might get some inaccuracies.

I find that instead of praying, non-theists tend to hope and think about possible outcomes. God isn't the only one who gets prayers you know.

I think that they would. Seriously do you think that all atheists are so anal about their beliefs that they wouldn't admit something like that?

Wait, is this praying to a deity or begging for your life in the form of praying? I think there's a sustantial difference there.

Are you for real or do you just tell yourself that when you're only fooling . Take my word for it facts science and reality are a far cry from the illogic of fable, hearsay, fantasy and propaganda promulgated by religion dripping in superstitious beliefs .

What Friendly Neighborhood Atheist said. Plus, one of my first steps toward atheism was my realization that prayer doesn't do a damn bit of good.

There is nothing more dangerous than unquestioned beliefs. Take charge of your own life and accept responsibility for your actions - stop pinning them on some mystical beings "will".

I think they would be honest. Some would lie, but I think that number is very small. Religious people can also have moments of doubt in trying times. Should they be harassed for that also?

If I was in trouble I would ask Glenda the Good Witch to help me......but I still know she's part of a fairy tale.

Why do some of you guys push it until you make us say disrespectful things we normally wouldn't say?

Probably not. Certainly, I never have when in a high stress situation: I spend my effort addressing the problem, not posturing to a big brother in the sky.
