I don't know mush about the ones you mentioned here other then they are an "Auto focus" 35mm camera. The use market is full of these types of 35mm cameras, if interested in a manual focus I have a Professional Canon New F-1 and a Tokina AT-X IF 28-135 f/4. I also have a Power Winder for the New F-1.

or try www.bhphotovideo.com you can contact me with any question on this and I'll even pass along my name so you can ask B&H Photo..they know me because I have been a customer for a long time.

If it is working then it works - there is little more one can say. I see these selling 'used' on eBay at up to £30/$45. These particular cameras are sold under a variety of names like Miranda, Cosina etc. as well as popping up as own brands in some larger stores. The camera itself contributes nothing to the image except for an even exposure. The film does the job of a sensor and, just as sensor quality plays an important part in a digital camera image, so film does in a film camera - but you have a choice of films! What lense is included? These either come eith a moderate quality zoom or a reasonable quality 50mm standard lense. If you have a choice, get the standard and you can add other K mount lenses as and when you feel the need for them.

The answer is that all of them are good cameras, but the differences between them are miniscule in the hands of a good photographer.

But if you're simply asking which camera you should pick for your photography class, I'd go with one of the Canon, probably the Canon Rebel G II. It was introduced in 2003. The Rebel line has been around since 1990, so the older basic Rebel is probably the other camera. The Olympus is a point and shoot; you can't change lenses on it.

If your course requires a fully manual 35mm camera you might look at the Minolta SRT-202 with a 50mm f1.7 lens. You should be able to find one at KEH or B&H or Adorama or maybe at a local camera shop.

The Pentax K1000 is also a good choice. Its widely considered a good student camera.
