Yes, both are a double DIN size unit. The wiring plugs are the same. The only thing you may have to change is the mounting brackets on the sides of the unit. Other wise they are the same.

Should fit ok and wire up with the same plug---you may want to check with a local salvage yard---they have interchange books or programs that can tell what parts will fit from one year and model to another.

sunfire and cavalier are the same vehicle, different manufacturers, and both use delco for factory stereos. as long as they are the same size, there should be no problem.
