Since last December, I have been having a dream that I was having an affair with a co-worker.
But I just could not make out who it was among the 40 over male colleagues i have and I really didn't fancy any of them.
Then January came, and a new tenant came and stayed, it turned out to that he is my new colleague. When I had the dream again, the images and voices got clearer, and it was this new colleague of mine.
Our relationship grew stronger as a pair of very close friends, while he stays faithful to his wife and i to my own husband. But why do i still have this dream till now.
Can anyone help me interpret this?
Thanks.

An important thing to remember with dreams is that this is often a stage where your subconcious mind works out underlying issues/concerns you may have. A dream of an affair does not necessarily mean that you are being unfaithful or that you will ever be. It could be any of the following:

1. Right now, life may be growing a bit redundant. You are committed to one another and love each other, but there is a wistfullness, a need to go back to that time when love was perhaps "forbidden", fun, exciting.
2. You may be afraid to look at others when you are at work, in the store, etc. because you are afraid this will lead you to have feelings you would not welcome because you are in a committed relationship. Before, you would not have been interested in anyone, but now, there is someone new who is interesting.
3. There may be some issues within your relationship that may or may not be serious that make you interested in this other person. Dreaming of having an affair does not mean that you are having one. You may need to work through some things with your spouse, add some fun, balance your time together, make time for both of you. If there are things that cannot be fixed and you feel will eventually break down the relationship, do the honorable thing. Be honest, sincere. Do not start something in the shadows that will only lead to pain and disrespect.

You know in your heart what it is you want and need. Listen to your intuition, be ready to work hard if that is what is necessary, but if you find that through it all, you must walk away, do it with grace and respect. Don't begin something that will fester into an enormous problem.

Dreams are not typically a premonition but symbolic of our subconcious. However, since you dreamt about this person prior to meeting him, it is possible that this is a warning that this co-worker has a deceptive nature. Co-workers characterizes partnerships or a working together, Affair symbolizes lack of loyalty or a deceptive nature.
Additional details would be more helpful.

Do you and your husband have problems? Like you guys are somewhat seperating
from each other. To me your dream seems like your spouse isn't meeting your every desire. Whats not in him you may find in your colleague instead and thats probably why you dream the same dream.

You wanted some action and because you came in contact with some many men at your office, that is where your dream played out. Obviously, when the new meat came in, you took interest and it manifested iny our dream.

well, if this relationship between you and your collegue takes a serious turn, i would cut it off immediately. i admire your loyalty to your husband. talk to him about it and see what he says. im not sure this friendship may be a good idea. the dream could be a warning to steer clear of this guy and stick with your husband. his dream could be God's way of telling you to look out, b/c trouble is on the way

You two have an intimate relationship on some level. I don't think the dream means you wanna do him but just shows that you two have a connection.

Perhaps somewhere in your heart you desire a relationship with that person or wished you had.
