I truly do not think it was as strange as you might think. People often have past life memories come back while dreaming. It is a safe time when the subconscious mind opens up to the possibility for those memories to come to the surface. It may have been a past life memory, depending, of course, upon your age. It could also be a psychic connection to a loved one, friend, etc. who may or may not have passed. Perhaps you were able to see through the eyes of an older relative who wanted that Pooh doll, or was showing you this so that when you did see the bear at the sale, you would remember. It was up to you whether or not to buy it. That is a wonderful experience.

It's called de ja vu. But how did you know that it was "1958" in your dream? And what is a person dressed in 1930's fashion doing in 1958? Try and find out who the original owner of this Pooh Bear doll is. Who knows, you just might be surprised at what you might find out! Perhaps, you will then find out the significance of "1958" and why you were "dressed like someone from the 1930's." Just some things for you to ponder and try and figure out ...

Dreams can sometimes be premontions, or symbolic messages from our subconcious. Teddy bears are a soothing and comforting aspect in one's life symbolicly. Bear charactarizes an overbearing personality relationship, or situation. Often points to the source of a dreamer's stress. 1958 reduced is 5 Symbolic of freedom, communication, intellect, movement, versatility, expression, transformation
Your physical experience, experiencing life through use of the five physical senses rather than the five subtler senses (spiritual experience) May indicate a person who is charming, courteous, highly analytical, intellectual and possibly highly strung.
However, more than likely you have a connection to this bear.

The dream was your super conscious seeing the future. You are supposed to buy that bear for a reason. Maybe the time it took buying that bear kept you from having a accident on the way home. Maybe that bear will have some use in the future. Maybe you will give it you your children. Maybe their is a thousand dollars sowed into it. Bottom line is you were sent a message to buy that bear
Good luck

It means that you may be psychic or have some sort of premonitions. Perhaps, you should open the pooh bear and see if someone hid something inside it. Maybe money or a key to a lock box; or even a treasure map of some sort. Good luck!

Maybe it doesn't mean anything- people are always trying to pin significance to dreams, and while in some cases there may be meaning, I think people often underestimate the minds ability to entertain us. I had a dream that I was in one of my friends houses alone, blasting zombies with a shotgun. Aside from the possibility I'd been playing too many computer games at the time, I don't think there was much meaning to be drawn from that dream...

I believe everyone posses a certain psychic ability, many on very different levels. There's a chance you have some sort of link to the stuffed animal, or you simply dreamed it because you knew you would find it one day. I would always keep it around, it might serve you a purpose one day.
Never dismiss your underestimate your dreams, or that scratching in the back of your mind. There's a reason they're there.
