My 15 year old daughter is now living with me. She was living with her father from the age of 10 until now since we are divorced.

She has to start her Junior year in a new school either with me or her Dad since her Dad moved due to job reasons and I live in a different state.

We went to see the High School today and she did not like it. The classes, school set-up and type of students did not appeal to her.

Should I move to where she was living before or get back together with her father so that she has some stability in her life because she is with her father again? He was and is still verbally abusive and controlling.

The first few days of school are hard for most kids, especially a new student. She felt awkward because she did not know anyone and didn't know the lay out of the school. In just a week or two, that would change. She needs to give it a second chance. One day is not enough time to judge a new school.

She's a teenager. NOTHING is going to appeal to her, unless it has sparkly eyes and a tan body.
Let her start the school year. Get through the year. If at the end of the year, she still hates it, you can consider moving if that is an option for you.
She is going to have a hard time adjusting to life without dad regardless of where she is. She'll be okay.

why do you have to move in with her father? That's not the way to go.

you can rent your own place can't you?

OR is your daughter just plan use to getting her own way?
She doesn't have that long before she has to get out on her own and see the real world. If you think keeping her with you in your town will cause many problems, go ahead and move to dads town but most deffinatly don't move in with him!
