I mean if they're so smart, then why is it only a theory?

B: Sorry buddy, it's a theory because its mechanisms are not understood.

Darn right and that theory about the world being round, there is insufficient evidence that it is round and we know that even if things rotate the Earth is still the center of the universe.
Another phony theory is the one about electricity. Baloney, there is no such thing. There is nothing in the good book that says anything about electricity and if it's not in the good book, it can't be good.

The theory is not fake. Gravity does exist and may be calculated from equations or laws. You may need to read about the scientific method to help you understand the logical processes of inquiry.

Gravity can be measured and tested and predicted and demonstrated. The idea that the magic wand of random radiation turned a primitive Frog into a modern day Prince with the aid of natural selection canceling out all of the mistakes cannot be tested.

If those scientists are so smart, why haven't they heard of 'Intelligent Attraction, which is the ONE TRUE THEORY that fully explains what the heathens call 'gravity', as the natural result of the force caused by the beating of angel wings. Do they get their diplomas from Cracker Jack boxes!? Sheesh.

Because we can't really explain why it works.

We know when it works and how it works well enough to predict it mathematically but we don't really understand the nature of gravity. What makes matter pull on other matter?

Maybe it's just ME that can't explain why it works but I've heard it also put into terms of how space curves around matter.

I think that's a different thought all together.

Go up in a plane and jump out without a parachute from 10000ft and then tell me if it is just a phony theory.

Go get a dictionary and look up the word theory then stop thinking about things you will never understand.

Actually, I do. I seriously question gravity as a fundamental force. I have applied the same level of scrutiny (or more since I work as a biologist) to evolution.

Gravity is not a theory. What causes gravitational force is.

a theory in science is held in higher esteem then the facts it is based upon gain some knowledge or was that "just" an assertion from someone ignorant of science .
