The short onse are sticking out and wont go down. They dont really go to the side. I straightened them and tryied gel to make them go flat but they keep sticking out. What should i do?

hi there!
Well it sounds like a really pretty cut...first thing I would recommend is rewashing your hair and use conditioner...get yourself some volumizing mousse and sparingly put through your hair...with a medium size round brush (or smaller depending on your hair length) take the bang and wrap it around the brush, not too tight, then on a slow dryer setting dry the bang...if that doesn't do the trick, then with the same brush, lay it where the bang starts (right at the root) with your hairdryer pull the brush down towards your eyes, slowly wave the dryer over the hair and gradually pull the brush slightly over to the side of the hair which it longer, kinda sweeping it to the side...I do this with my bangs which makes it look kinda like a side part but it isn't goofy looking..it looks nice and gives it a soft swept look...and if all else fails, go back to the salon that gave you the cut and request a do over, most salons will satisfy their customers if there is a problem...Good Luck!!!
ps...be patient with your hair, it is hard to be I know but try! =)

Kinda curl them under. Not really far just dont make them straight. The place they hit your head is probably what is making them stick out. Use a light hair serum like dove antifrizz moisterizing cream. Not a lot just a bit will work.

This link is to a video demo on how to style your bangs so they lay flat & look good: http://www.womenshealthmag.com/article/0,6176,s1-22-171-1804-1,00.html
Also - you might be dealing w/ static so run a used dryer sheet over your combs, brushes & hair to eliminate it.
Styling creme or lotion works a bit better @ making hair smooth.

Ummmm... I dont really know what to say. youve been asking SO many questions about it, and since i am in your contacts list, I have been getting like 15 emails a day about you and your hair or you and what you should wear- "easy 2 points"
Id think that you would have it just right after all the decisions you had people make FOR you....
Please stop it with all the questions every day. like one or two, or i am going to block you- its not anything personal, but it just gets annoying after a while. I dont WANT to block you, because you are very helpful and nice when I need you, but this is a bit over the top!!

Try wetting them then apply some moose and blow dry down while brushing. They probably just need to be trained. A few weeks doing this they will lay on their own.

experiment with your hair! nothin trastic but maybe enough that it looks good! find a haristyle that works otherwise go to a differnt salon(if you have money) and tell them what you want! also if this doesn't work that is okay! if friends only like you for your looks than they aren't good friends! try your best!
good luck! ^_^

Time to get our some products - try some putty, to try mold it -- if all else fails, use gel for anything. It's magical.
Or just curl it all over!
