the early 4.7"mercedes engines" had a corrosion problem with the front timing cover so when a waterpump leaked jeep would sell you the whole cover with pump already bolted to it. they were sold for about what a nomal pump costs by itself, and you get to look at the "swiss watch timing gears, chains, tensioners, and idlers"
good luck

you should always have a trusted mechanic look at your cars before you purchase but i know for fact that these cars are sturdy and last for a long time if properly maintained. my husband and i have three jeeps two are grand cherokees 2000 and 2001 both well over 100k miles and no problems out of either.

your taking the guy's observe with the line miles assertion...and the maintenance...it ought to look to run sturdy yet...you're able to desire to be careful....if something....quite often of thumb...something over 100K is plenty for any vehicle..or truck...until eventually it extremely is a Peterbuilt....

You better have that car checked by a mechanic. It doesn't matter that it "feels good."
