I Have one on Wednesday they just called me! what's a group job interview? has anyone been to one? at banana republic? somewhere else? what to expect?

It's a cattle call. They look at everyone, pick out the pretty people, and put them to work.

By the way, I wouldn't work for a company that does group interviews. I can assure you that the top pay bracket will still be mid to low poverty level.

Group interviews are exactly what they sound like. There are several interviewee's interviewed at the same time, or it can mean that you are being interviewed by more than one person. I hate them. I feel like if there is more than one person interviewing you, it can feel like they are tag teaming you, or ganging up on you. If you are being interviewed with several other candidates, it feels like you are being put into a pit and the strongest dog wins. I don't think it allows you to show what your strong points are, your to busy competing for your time and answer periods. Good Luck.

An interviewer will probably interview two people instead of one. I had this type of interview before I worked for Walt Disney World.
