my fiance says she hasn't been able to use the bathroom in about 7 days now. she took some new yogurt and cereal that she thinks caused it, but they were supposed to be high in fiber. Anyhow she tried taking some medicine over the counter that was supposed to make her use the bathroom within 15 min and it didn't work. She went to the doctor today and they did an x-ray and said her intestines were backed up and gave her some medicine that's supposed to take 2 to 4 days. Is this common for women? Is this a serious condition? Will she be ok? She's worried and I don't know what to do, but comfort her.

I believe she has used suppositories already. She doesn't like talking about that kind of stuff, but she briefly mentioned that.

Colon cleansing uses natural health & herbs to help your body to heal health problems which are often related to a colon which is not functioning as nature intended.

All right. It's a dirty subject. But what if no one talks about it? More people have problems with their colon than most people realise.

More and more people are suffering from health problems, including pain, constipation and lack of energy which can be related to a dirty bowel.

These problems do not happen by accident. Many of these problems are caused partly or largely by eating and drinking foods and drinks which are not what nature intended we eat and drink

In the hospital when we have someone who has not moved their bowels in days, we give them 45cc of fleets phospha soda twice at least 4 hours apart until they are pooping their brains out.
This can be purchased over the counter in drug stores. It usually takes a couple hrs for it to kick in and works quickly.

If the suppository didn't work then she needs to use an enema. Go out and get her one.
