Sounds fine to me, but I think you should be asking your friend what they want you to sing at their wedding.

I have sang at a few events and organized other people to sing for weddings. We usually have the singer tell the couple which songs she has prepared or usually sings (unless they have a special request)
Then sing the songs for the couple and let them choose which they think is best for their ceremony.
I have seen the song you have selected performed at many weddings.
Good luck.

Doesn't your friend get to decide? I've sung at lots of weddings, both as part of an ensemble and a soloist. Each time, the bride and groom have chosen the pieces. Whatever you sing, just make sure that it fits your voice.

top now, no longer probable. you do no longer sing 'with' your diaphragm. making a song from the diaphragm makes your voice extra powerfull and it accentuates the adjustments between the notes. additionally the song might've been too stable for you. try making a song a song with a decrease pace. Get information on the internet on a thank you to sing out of your diaphragm. they're additionally unfastened tutorials obtainable which could help you improve a stable voice. you have ability!

Definitely check with your friend.
Also if the ceremony is in a church there may be some restrictions on what you can sing. You would want to check with your acmpanist to see if this is something that is appropriate or evne something they can play.
If it isn't for the ceremony, the it would be fine for the reception.
Good luck!

I am sure you must be a great singer! Hats off to you!
I think this piece is best at the reception.
It is an emotional time for most. Something soothing would be best.
Have fun. And enjoy your talent.

It's a nice song. Doesn't she have selections chosen?
Good luck! I've sung at weddings before, too.

i think that song requires a really big voice and few people have it....many think they do but few actually do. Without actually hearing you sing we can't help pick a song suitable to your voice.
Ultimately you need to ask the couple since it's their wedding. I can't stand pop music and that song would not fit us at all.
