I wouldn't put one under each persons plate. For one, they can't read the blurb about why that place was chosen with food ontop of it, and second you are going to invest making all these things and then what?

Choose one place for each table. Table names should be two words at most and it's going to be confusing for guests to be at the Italy/Spain/Mexico table.

Actually, I disagree with the top poster.

Make a master "placemat" - and you can have more than one - then get color legal size copies. Laminating them shouldn't be that expensive. When people sit at the tables there won't be any plates and it will add to your table decoration.

The candy from each country is a cool idea. You could even just put a mirror tile with a candle and hurricane over it and the candy sprinkled around it. Hello!

My sister did this.

She had a framed picture of the groom and her in each country as the centerpiece! Then they bought candy from each country and sprinkled on the table. The guests LOVED it!

They met on a cruise ship and used this as the theme! They even used this invite...

Very fun and different!

Your guests will enjoy checking out all the tables to see where YOU have been! Fun conversation piece too!

Best wishes!

Keep it simple, just name the tables. The name card you can laminate maybe with a picture but I wouldn't do anymore than that.

As for centerpieces there are so many options out there, do you have a theme? Did you want florals or candles or something else? If you want florals talk to you florist.

Good luck!

i think that you should do each table a different place that you have went and then also put 3 picture frames to make a triangle in the center with the collages but i wouldn't put it under the plate spot but it is your wedding what ever you think looks like the 2 of you!! congrats and good luck!
