Muslims always marvel at God's creation, especially the scientific fact that the Moon is EXACTLY the same size as the Sun in the sky, when observed from the surface of the Earth. That can be considered one of the many physical signs of the existence of an Al-Mighty Creator God (swt).
Muslims pray the "Al-Kusuuf" prayer during an eclipse.

In Islam, the service/prayer offered during a solar or lunar eclipse has a very deep-rooted meaning, and should not, at any cost, be considered a form of moon- or sun-worship.
The essence of this prayer lies in the fact that a Muslim seeks protection from his Creator (Allah), while offering this service from his spiritually-luminant soul (symbolized by the bright sun/moon) from becoming en-wrapped in the spiritual-darkness (symbolized by the eclipsed sun/moon) of evilness, misconception and sinfulness.
Sort of a metaphoric prayer. Hope this helps.

Muslims offer special prayers during eclipses
Muslims recognize that everything in the heavens and on earth is created and sustained by the Lord of the universe, Allah Almighty. Throughout the Qur'an, people are encouraged to look around them, observe and reflect on the beauties and wonders of the natural world - as signs of Allah's majesty
