I've got fresh baby spinach, vidalia onions, raspberry vinagrette dressing, mandarin orange sections and cucumbers. But I feel like somethings missing. What would you add?

Sounds like you're on the right track!

Here's a list of ingredients to a salad that I prepare all the time and it's such a BIG hit. Everyone loves it, and it's so simple.......

Baby Spinach
Fresh Strawberries (cut in quarters)
Purple onion (to taste)
Salted Sunflower Seeds *OR* Toasted Sesame Seeds
Rasberry Vinegarette
**Slivered Almonds(optional)** made with and without...a HIT either way:)

You've made me soooo hungry for one of these beautiful salads. I think I'll go to my frig and get busy!

Slivered almonds. Even better if you toast them--just toss a handful or two into a dry skillet and cook until you detect a luscious nutty aroma.

I'd skip the cucumbers and add dried fruits and maybe grape or cherry tomatoes.

But man, that does sound good!

Add some tomatoes if cherry tomatoes cut them in half, sliced celery, radishes if you have any. Cubes of cheese and cold-cuts rolled up, fastened with a pick, green onions, red pepper stripes, what ever you may have on hand and you can mix different lettuces too.

Those are great items. I usually add tomato and a splash of lemon juice. I know there is nothing in iceberg lettuce, however I enjoy the crispness it gives the salad.

Grape or cherry tomatoes and toasted pecans. Maybe a little crumble of bleu cheese too! Enjoy!

Some grilled chicken and some radicchio, the red bitter lettuce type veggie.
Other wise sounds good.

Some pecans and maybe some radicchio or field greens. I might think about adding some tomato and maybe some cheese (feta - is my favorite).

Blue or feta cheese would be good
Crispy bacon if it wasn't for the orange - not sure how that would taste

I would add some chopped walnuts or sliced pecans. I like nuts in salads that have fruit in them.

Something either chewy or crunchy - like craisins, dried cherries or golden raisens, or for crunch, some kind of toasted nut - pistachios, pine nuts or walnuts...yumm..
