So telling people to stone homosexuals and people who commit adultery to death is OK then? And so is ordering parents to beat their children and even kill their children if they are disobedient?Oh and condoning at various times incest, rape, child rape and genocide?
I really can't imagine how the Abrahamic god got his brutal reputation..
It's possible such a sociopathic god exists I guess but if such a deity is real he certainly won't get my respect or worship.

data that God exists... might comprise something traceable to the Bible, for the reason that this is the real information on him. It won't have the capacity to be something that people can administration, the two, like "a conflict will ensue and a guy would be there and another people will build a development." It must be the two a great prediction of a organic experience, or an unnatural experience. It ought to relate to the Bible, in any different case it must be the artwork of Zeus.

Pain and death are not limited to those who disobey their religion, not are good health and a long life necessarily the rewards of those who follow it.
Armies are often defeated by people with inferior technology, like the USA and the Viet Cong. In that case it was mostly a case of bad military planning, same as the Greek mountain men vs. the Nazis in the Second World War.

So you're saying that God can punish us, and send us to hell simply because he's higher than us? If Mike Tyson has higher physical strength than you, does that give him the right to slap you around? By your logic, I would say yes he does have the right.
The point is you're making God sound like a bully.

As the Creator of the world and of all people, it would certainly not be wrong for God to destroy the things he made. Just as a potter dissatisfied with a flawed ceramic can throw it back onto the wheel, so God would have every right to wipe the earth clean of his own creatures.
However, what is special about the human creature is that God made humanity in his own image. He made us as a companion and intimate friend for himself. Accordingly, he has been working since our creation to befriend us, to teach us, and to make a way for us to live with him forever.

Because, quite frankly, many people don't obey him because his orders aren't clear.
First, there's no reliable authentication - the only proof we have that the messages that are supposedly from him actually *are* from him... is the message itself. No good way of verifying that, and he hasn't don't any recent *blatent* miracles to assist.
Then, we've got contradictory orders - do this, no, wait, do that instead. Creates a lot of confusion, and doesn't help the case from point #1 either.
If he gave a message that wasn't clear, how can he fault people for not trusting it?

Because it's beneath him that's why. If God is the magnificent individual that Christians like to claim he, is then acting like a spoiled, tyranical , insecure child is inappropriate behavior
What makes atheists morally superior to Chritians is that we do good deeds and behave ourselves despite the absence of of a reward for doing so or the possibility of punishment for not doing so.

If there was a god, then I don't think he is a nice guy if he allows all the suffering that he does. If you try to force someone to love and obey you, then you will get some rebels to overthrow you. The holocost is an excelent example of religious terrorists in action.

Well, he could. And if you read your O.T. he does spend a lot of time doing just that. God does appear to enjoy a good smiting.
However, Christians claim that God loves all of us, sinner and saint alike. Smiting people does not sound very loving and does tend to remove their free-will. Also what happens after they have been properly smited? Do they go to hell? If so then that is an eternity of torture. I can not conceive of any sin so evil that it justifies an infinite, eternal torture. How could a loving god actually implement that sort of a punishment?
So I am forced to conclude that the Christian definition of God must be wrong.

You forget to mention the LOVING things God does, like Giving us eternal life, if we choose to follow HIm. Somehow that always gets left out, and everybody focuses on just the punishment part. Read the whole Bible, people!!!!
