I'm not being racist, but it seems like black people and Latinos have less pimples than white people. Is it a biological thing or do we white people just not wash our faces enough?

I'm not looking to clear up my own acne, Clean & Clear does that just fine. I'm looking for an answer to a biological mystery for me.

Not to mention that none of the people so far have given me any proof that they know what they're talking about...

Actually no it is not melanin. It is genes. There ARE black people and people in every race who get many pimples. I think in a very general roundabout way, some black people have less oily faces and that is what affects acne. People who are born with oily faces run a higher risk of their pores being clogged easily.

Not at all. Acne can either be hereditary, from the foods you eat, or how oily your skin is. If you have acne, use Pro-active. It really works! They offer an inexpensive trial size that you can test to see if it is the right product for you. You can purchase over the phone, on the web, or sometimes at your local shopping mall in one of the kiosks.

Acne is a mystery even doctors can't explain. I eat good foods, low in fat and sugar, and wash regularly, and still get them.
