Than she is dumb, and I need to lose her, because that is not about to happen... I just want to know what she wants to hug or not to hug....
So my girlfriend is not a pda person, I told her it was fine, and she told me that she wanted to, then I told her then why did she say she didn't want to hug me in public, and she said that she thinks it is for private, and i told her...
Ok, so you don't want me to hug you?
And she told me:
Do what you want? Then she told me to tell her what she wants...
So i said she wants to but doesn't because of what people will think... and she said kind of...
Then she told me to ask her if i can hug her, and then said that she might tell me yes, but not hug me back because she isn't a good hugger....
I still left the conversation confused.... what do you think she meant?
Should i not hug her or what? I mean, to me just spending time with her is fine and all i need...nothing more... so what is up?

Honey, when you feel affection, hug the damn girl, you will at least teach her how to PDA if anything, you need to either be in this relationship with your sense of style and action or not, because hand holding, hugs and little kisses are reinforcement displays to build security and outward presentation that the two of you are definitely a couple. ? is this girl a different race then you ? If she is loose her now cause she is scared of what others may think . You do not want a girl like that ! If she is the same race as you then it may be that she may not be able to have a man and she doesn't want any family members to see her and she get in trouble . That is the only thing I can seem to think of why a girl wouldn't want to hug the man she so call likes or loves . Good Luck !!!!

Do you think that she may be talking about something else? Like kissing? Say the same thing to her again in a private place and then just slowly come in for the kiss. I didn't really understand what you said, but this is the best advice I can offer.

I think she wants to hug you but is afraid to because your culture frowns on public displays.
I would enjoy her company while in public, but when in private give her a hug and show her how it's done.
Continue to keep the communication open. That's one of the most important and most overlooked parts of a relationship.

If she's telling you that you need to ask to hug her, and that she will not hug you back "if" she gives you permission to hug her, then I'd say you may as well not bother with the PDA.
Obviously she is very uncomfortable with it, so there's no point in pursuing PDA with her.

Rather then regret someting you didnt do, regret something you did. Besides actions speak louder then words and it seems the anticipation is the thing that is killing her.
So just go give her a nice bear hug, not too tight but not too loose. If she doesnt like it its not the end of the world :)

Play it her way and respect her for that. As long as she'll hug you still in private. Making the girl happy is what it's all about anyways, so go along with what she feels comfortable with...you'll gain "points" with her that way.

Sounds to me da female is very confused! By I say let it ride for a minute and tell her to let you know how she really feel in complete details so neither one is confused. She's probably going through something and needs you to bear with her for a while.Maybe she doesn't know how to tell you whats she's feeling inside.

he probably doesnt want to feel over bearing or desperate...and im sorry to say but girls take things much differently than guys. brief and emotionless is probably normal for him... dont judge things on txting becus u also cant tell emotion from a txt very well... if things change when u hang then maybe somethin is up

That is confusing, i mean about what she said.
i would usually get pissed off if someone did that to me.
Well, yea, just give her a hug, but i think she likes you, and a hug means i like you too, or something.
