Use a mix, some of them can even be baked in the microwave, like a Brownie Mix (mix brownies are more like cake than anythng).
Check the directions on some of the more well-known cake or brownie mixes, like Krusteaz or Betty Crocker...

You can significantly cut cook time by increasing surface area - try using a jelly roll pan to make a very thin cake and it will cook in about 12-14 minutes then you can turn it out to cool and frost as 1, fill and roll or cut and stack/fill to make a taller cake. Good Luck!

Go to the store, buy a chocolate cake, come home throw flour on your face and say look honey I made you a cake. Point to the cake.

buy the microwave ones, or go the bakery and buy a recently baked one, put it in your container, waa laa,,, a fresh baked cake.
