...that we wanted 10 practical measures TO WIPE CHRISTIANITY OUT, and if we wanted to know how to pray to the ANGE OF DEATH to "visit" the Christians, like the questions that PERSIAN NEMESIS has done at pagans, do you think that such questions would be unacceptable and immediately deleted from this forum?????????/
If so, then WHY DO YOU THINK that Persian Nemesis' terrible questions, which are clearly in violation of the community regulations, have NOT been removed and why that person has not been kicked out of Yahoo AAnswers????????

to Lord Amon Raha: I didn't SAY that Persian Nemesis was Christian. I am trying to get him kicked out and I was using Christianity as an example of a faith that is different than paganism. I could just as easily have said Islam instead of Christianity. It is a hypothetical situation in which one group is attacked and the attacker is getting away with it!

I totally get your point. And I know you're not aiming SPECIFICALLY at Christians.
Unfortunately, this level of intolerance DOES exist. I have witnessed it from people other than 'Persian Nemesis'. And I have witnessed it almost daily on here.
It just seems to be the case that every religion has ummmm... enemies (wanting a better word). No matter who you are, there are people who hate you, even though they don't know you.
For me personally, there is no such thing as an unacceptable opinion. Everybody should be able to express their own, but in a respectful way. I figure that this is where the problem lies.
When people begin to disrespect others (it's a feature of the larger religions, when the power of popularity makes the collective ego expand), intolerance is born. Intolerance spreads like wildfire among like-minded people, and soon there are 50 people disrespecting you instead of 1.
The way to combat this is to show them how to love and respect. It may not work, but when it does, it's worth more than gold.
One of my personal reasons for this is because if I were to have someone removed from the forum, then I would be denying them the chance to learn of (and from) their wrongs.
The secret is to 'take' the beating, and embrace the beater. It is impossible to hate love, and soon the love will be shared.

Persian Nemesis is a muslim not a Christian. Also, most pagans are a lot more tolerant than other religions, and not as quick to report people. I suggest other pagans do report him, as I have several times.
Yahoo does not monitor the questions at all, it is purely dependant on the amount of people who report a question or answer. The more people that report him, and the more often he gets reported, the higher likelyhood that he will be deleted. He is giving other muslims a very bad name, he is a horrible example of a person, an American, and a Muslim, and his hate statements need to be reported.

Dear LM I was brought up to be a christian, and the faith teaches love thy neighbour honor thy father and mother and other simplistic and good sounding stuff. The Questions you are complaining about break the tenets of all the 'christian' sects of which I have any knowledge. It is never good whatever your belief to seek the death or even distress of another being.
ALL have the right to life and love and we are all part of one whole. We have equal importance as the other parts. This person is not practicing common humanity leave alone christianity which would not tolerate such disgusting behaviour.
Such poor misguided and bitter individuals deserve our sympathy and any help we can give them to see the truth of their condition. But we must be on guard against the pernicious violence and intolerance that they preach.
We should feel sorry for their ignorance, but at the same time guard ourselves against infection with their vitriolic hatred of anything that is different from themselves. Because of people like that I would be ashamed to call myself christian now.

... sometimes it just seems more acceptable when people are ignorant of the subject. I agree with you.
I once went to this website that had a lot of quotes from the 700 club and basically it had this little button and when you clicked it, all the non-christian religions in the quotes were switched out with judaism. Needless to say the quotes sounded much more horrible when Pat Roberston was going on about how the jews (as opposed to the pagans, the gays, etc) were corrupting the world.

I think that everyone can agree that whatever Persian Nemesis' beliefs and spirituality, he is rude, hateful and an unnecessary LIAR! I agree that if this same attack was aimed at one of the main stream religions he would not last two seconds. He perpetuates a untrue negative stereotype about Pagans and all the work we do in here trying to do to clear up these misconceptions about us is being undone by his hateful words. Well, I guess we will just have to post and answer twice as much.

*Something is going on with YA and this fool!
I have reported every thing he has posted and have been doing so for over a week now and yet the questions are still there~ in fact only one has gone.
I realise we Pagans are a placid bunch ~ but this fool has gone too far! I guess we can just go through his questions and keep reporting him.
One thing i refuse to do is feed the troll and give him an answer.
Lets hope he is gone soon!

Personally, I'm a little surprised that he hasn't gotten himself booted yet. I think I've seen one or two of his questions that got removed, but at the rate he's going, I'd have thought Yahoo would've gotten tired of him long ago.
The words that I reserve for him would be a violation of the ToS, so I'm just going to say that he's a troll and be done with it. I'm keeping my fingers crossed until he's gone.

I think there's a lot of different things in play here.
A lot of people probably don't even bother to read his questions.
Some who do may agree with him (sad, but likely).
We Pagans do tend to be tolerant, and so it may be that we don't report him when it would be completely appropriate to do so..
And others may read his questions, disagree with him, but not have the courage of their convictions to publicly chastise him.
Still others may have chosen to let his questions stand so that others can SEE that this is the underlying nastiness that some people harbor under their facade of tolerance.
