That is not blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. Whoever told you that was off his rocker.

Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit has nothing to do with promises unkept or anything like that. It has to do with free will, and the fact that if we reject God's forgiveness, God doesn't force it on us.

The ultimate blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is to tell God that you are too bad or too good or too whatever for Him to be able to forgive you.

When you do that, you effectively make yourself unforgiveable because God, as I said, doesn't force it on anybody.

Once you swallow your pride and admit to God that you do need/want His forgiveness, the Holy Spirit floods your soul with Light and healing and you are forgiven.

So yes. If you didn't do your push-ups, you'd still get to heaven.

LOL - I don't know how important push ups are. A better promise would be to help those in need.

Blasphemy definition:

1 a : the act of insulting or showing contempt or lack of reverence for God b : the act of claiming the attributes of deity
2 : irreverence toward something considered sacred or inviolable

Not doing pushups is not blaspheming the Holy Spirit.

First things first! Look up blasphemy. Second, When you get to finally be judged God already knows what you did, your there to explain yourself, and see for yourself the face of God, and all that will be missed. Finally I don't think "how many push-ups you promised or did"is going to be on anybodies mind. You need to research at least a little bit on this subject to have any sort of discussion about It.

I don't think that something like that would hinder you from going to heaven, God will judge us by our hearts, and what we did for him in his name when he asked you. I believe that if you asked for forgiveness and repented of your sins that God will forgive you even if you have hurt the holy spirit.

If you believe that Jesus is God - or the son of God --- or you relate any other things to God ,who is Only and is far away of what many people describe him (son for example), you will burn in hell and that is for sure. You are here to proove that GOD IS ONLY AND THERE IS NOTHING ELSE LIKE HIM, HE WAS NOT BORN, NOR CREATED, BUT HE IS THE CREATOR OF EVERYTHINK... all the other inventions are lies ...

When we ask God into our hearts he forgives us of our sins. We need to keep asking God to lead us in the path of rightness. He is a righteous God if our name is written in the book of life then he will invite us in. May God bless
