An author can do what he/she wants with his/her books and characters. I don't think Harry Potter is any worse than the humanistic garbage we have to view on TV that caters to the modern society, encourages people to live for themselves, worries about being politically correct, etc.

Well, it's a kids book. I don't see any problem with it. Surely there's been more books and films that involve the hero coming back to life.

Well I only read the first two books.
But , they are FICTION, not reality.
If you understand that point, Then who cares what JK.Rowlings writes, It is a FICTION, entertainment, story.
NOT reality.
Now. My religious beliefs tell me and I agree, that Of course Jesus, our Divine King, OUR REDEEMER who died for us, is the ONE with His Fathers Approval who will resurrect our dead loved ones to life!
That is reality!
JK.Rowlings is fiction!
Two different things!

Harry Potter is a fictional character. That means he can be subjected to the impossible.

Maybe only Jesus can do that. But honestly, how many people do you know who can fly around on a broom? It's fantasy. No one is expected to take it seriously.

No, I don't think she was wrong. One of the greatest props and attractions of fiction writing is that the author can make *anything* happen. It's fiction, after all.

You might want to point out that Tinkerbell did it long before Harry did it. All you had to do was clap.

Who said Jesus is the only one who can bring back the dead? I guess this question is for all you people that take your magic books far too seriously.

The Bible...Harry Potter...spirits and miracles.

What was that question again?
