im a jr in high school and is taking photo as an elective...i need a 35mm camera for that class...how much does it cost to get 1 and which store can i go to get 1...

What you find is that people locally will sell their film cameras cheap for money

You'll have to bid and wait for shipping
try: the Yellow Pages and look for camera stores and camera repair stores selling used cameras.
try: pawn shops--people trade their cameras in for cash. They may not be working though....

Try KEH or B&H or Adorama. As a long time Minolta user I'd suggest a Minolta SRT-202 with a 50mm f1.7 lens. You can also try ebay. If you find one on ebay, email me and I'll check it for you. Include the Item number.
The Pentax K1000 would also be a good choice.
