If Jesus is the God of love and the bible says he doesnt help those who do not have faith (no bread for the non Jew Dogs) then how can Athiests know what love is ?

How can any non-christian for that matter? Do you HONESTLY mean to suggest that ONLY people who know Jesus can love?

I know who Jesus is, I just don't believe he was anything other than an ordinary human being. He was not a divine presence. And I don't think you need to believe in anyone or anything to know what love is. Your emotions come from within you, not from outside.

Then how does the 70% of the world that doesn't believe in jesus know what love is. I for one have Eros that I turn to for matters of love.

Sorry I don't see what the alleged existence of someone who supposedly died 2000 years ago has to do with the feelings I have towards my family, whom I love very much.

Thinking a fictional character is real is not necessary to understand love.
Love existed for thousands of years before Xians were ever around, and in hundreds of cultures before they knew of your silly religion.

I have two children - that's how I know what love is. I would gladly do ANYTHING for them, and I live to see them smile. Anyone can do that, regardless of their religious affiliation.
