Try Open Office, a free alternative to Microsoft Office. It has an application called Impress and it's compatible with PowerPoint files.
You could also download a FREE PowerPoint trial, but after 60 days you have to buy it.

OpenOffice is free and compatible with most Microsoft Office applications.
OpenOffice contains Impress a clone of Microsoft PowerPoint. It can open PowerPoint files and save a file as a PowerPoint compatible file.

You can download the Powerpoint Viewer for free from Microsoft's website. If you're planning on making Powerpoint presentations, you will not find any program that makes them for free. The closest thing to it is probably Open Office's Impress, which is free.

No free downloads for power point or excel. these programs comes only with windows professional. you will have to buy them.
