This is not the sort of thing I can assign a number to, as when I read of another values guy getting busted in some sleazy rap, I'm trying hard not to laugh.
It would have been really gross if it were a bus station restroom. Most of the airport restrooms I've been in are clean enough for me to do my business without getting squicked out.

This is a lot like the Bob Bauman case in the 70s. The republican congressman who was head of the Maryland moral majority arrested for soliciting sex from a 15 year old boy.
The problem here is not the offense but the hypocricy, In recent years, Craig's voting record has earned him top ratings from social conservative groups such as the American Family Association, Concerned Women for America and the Family Research Council. He has supported a federal constitutional amendment banning same-sex marriage, telling his colleagues that it was " important for us to stand up now and protect traditional marriage, which is under attack by a few unelected judges and litigious activists."
In 1996, Craig also voted in favor of the Defense of Marriage Act, which denies federal recognition to same-sex marriages and prevents states from being forced to recognize the marriages of gay and lesbian couples legally performed in other states.
Craig has also opposed expanding the federal hate crimes law to cover offenses motivated by anti-gay bias and, in 1996, voted against a bill that would have outlawed employment discrimination based on sexual orientation, which failed by a single vote in the Senate.
That he was arrested for soliciting sex from a male undercover policeman is in itself not a big deal. I think police should not be wasting taxpayer money on such trivial behaviour.

Considering this other incident happened just a few months ago:
http://blog.washingtonpost.com/offbeat/2007/08/fl_rep_bob_allen_blames_his_ar_1.html
Supposedly straight Florida GOP legislator and John McCain campaign official Bob Allen said he offered a 'favor' to a "pretty stocky black guy" in a park men's room because "'there was nothing but other black guys around in the park,' that night and he became intimidated and did whatever he could to survive."
So a straight White guy, who is a Florida legislator and works on McCain's presidential campaign, offers to "do stuff" to a black guy in men's room at night for protection. Hmmm...

Human beings are just that despite labels and even though the party tries to come off holier than thou they are just like everyone else when you take away the window dressing.

1 But isn't that a knee slapper? I always say you gotta watch out for those "traditional Family Values guys" that preach anti-gay slogans, they usually have something to hide themselves.
