Well allow me give an explanation for the way it works plenty of atheists in the market have learn the bible, many have studied it out and attempted to turn out it incorrect and nonetheless do not think in God. But simply studying the bible does no longer support you understand God. it does in some way, but it surely does not support you consider God. When i first began learning the bible, i did not recognise if i assumed in God. I inspiration he used to be truly however wasn't too certain. After an explanation research, which indicates what the prophets stated approximately Jesus within the OT, like in Isaiah fifty three and what fairly occurred, that is the gospel. and that did not make me think in God, but it surely made me provide God a risk. So my religious brothers informed me to begin studying my bible and pray every day, and that i began doing that. And as i learn the gospel and discovered extra approximately Jesus, i attempted residing my lifestyles like Jesus. after which after i noticed the powerful matters taking place in my lifestyles, i assumed in God. Becoming a Christian introduced me precise happiness, that is some thing i had not ever felt on the planet. So just about the factor in seeking to make is, the one method the Bible will support you think in God is when you do what it says. To are living your lifestyles like Jesus as quality you'll, repent of your sins, be baptized, deny your self and absorb your move every day, and so forth. however simply studying the bible like its a tale will certainly no longer support.

I do not believe in God ... lost my faith several years ago.

Yes, I have read the Bible. Once all the way through (took me 2 years), and many, many other times in parts.

Also, I was baptized, went to Sunday school, church and catechism class and then became a confirmed member of a church. I had to study the Bible plenty for all that.

Not everyone who does not believe is ignorant of religion. I promise you that.

I have read the entire christian bible, cover to cover, old testament and new, and have found nothing in it to make me think it's anything other than a reflection of what primitive humans believed. Many of the characters and stories are based on those from earlier mythologies, which is quite common. When humans create a new religion they often borrow from earlier and/or contemporary belief systems.

I'm atheist, and I know the Bible a hell of a lot better than many a Christian I've encountered (I would say I know about 75% of it). In fact, the Bible is one of the leading causes of atheism!

Yes. Only 18% of the content is true. Instead, Quran is 100% true. i dare say it

Then woe to those who write the Book with their own hands and then say,"This is from Allah," to purchase with it a little price! Woe to them for what their hands have written and woe to them for that they earn thereby.

I'm an atheist and I forced myself to read it just to see what all the hubbub was about. If anything it led me to affirm by belief that there is no God. How can you believe that dumb book that contradicts itself?

I used to be a Christian. I studied the Bible for five years and read it cover-to-cover once a year. So...five times.

Five + times in totality and many times in part as part of bible studies, church, and school (ACE) as a christian. Refer to it now and again as an atheist.
