You don't or can't set the temp - it's either on or off!
That's just the way microwaves work! There may be a setting for low power, medium or high but the regular default is high.

padmini--- you probably have a power level button on your microwave oven. Press the power level button then punch in the power setting you want.( 1 being the lowest)
(10 being the highest) The default setting is
on the highest setting. Our microwave is a
1000 watt. So I figure each number is 100
watts of power. I am not sure if there is a way to find the exect temp.
Sorry I can't give you a better answer.

Look at your manual. Microwaves do not have temperatures. Their default is always high that most things you will "cook" or melt is fine for. But there are also medium and low settings you can scroll to for other things. But you are referring also to a grill oven and that is an entirely different cooking device. Which are you asking about?

According to the dishes you prepare the timings they have provided in the microwaves. You select the timings instead of temperature set ups. So far to my knowledge there is no temperature settings in the Microwaves. You can go through the manuals book if you want. Yours VRVRAo

there is no system of temparature control in a Microwave oven. it exists only in clectrical ovens. In Micro u have low poer to high power. to use that facility read the instruction booklet given along with the microware. The default option is high power and it is better to keep it at that only
