Is this a good reason to ask her out?

I have been deciding over this summer to ask out, a girl, which I have known for a year I usually go for pretty over hot. What do you go for? Pretty or Hot

I have known her for a year. she is very inteligent, nice, and carring, and also when she wants she can look stunning, without all the make up, but rather with just a little, and we are good friends, we share an interest in sports also, she plays soccer, i play baseball. i go to her games she goes to mine. Most of all I like whats in her heart. She does have a guy friend that I can't stand, he brags about how good he is, but yet sucks. I also don't know if she wants a bf.

should i ask her?

Be a man. Go up to her and ask her out. What is the worst that could happen? She says no? She already has a boyfriend? You got to take a risk every now and then. This goes true in love and relationships. There are never any good reasons NOT to ask a woman out unless you are gay.

If she says no, then what did you lose in the end? You didn't have her then and you don't have her now. What changed? Rejections suck and I get that, but when you play the dating game, it is inevitably going to happen every so often.

On the other end, she could dig you too and say yes. Everything to gain and nothing to lose but a little shame.

Yeah. Ask her out, after all you are close to each other. I know that guy could be irritating, same happens to me. Just ask her out. And I'd go for pretty because if you say that to a girl rather than hot, it will sound more respectable because hot is usually used by people who only want to mate the girl. Pretty is better.

Do you like the girl?
When you see her, do you light up?
When you are together, hanging out or whatever, do you have the best time of you life?
Does the prospect of her with another guy make you sick?
-and most importantly-
Is she worth asking out?

If you answered yes to one or more of these questions, then you should ask her out. What would be the worst that would happen? That she would say "no?"

bring it up slowly. Strike up a conversation somehow wondering if the two of your should date. this will give good indication on whether she wants a boyfriend, and if she is keen to the idea of you two dating.

if you want to ask her out, ASK HER before it is too late.
listen to your heart, and see where it goes.

I think from what i hear that there is something going on between you and her. But at the same time you don't want to spoil a friendship, why don't you drop some hints. Or maybe get a close friend of hers to ask her what she thinks of you, or if she likes you in that way. If she does like you, then I'm sure she wont be bothered by what her friend is saying and focus all her attention on you. Hope i helped :)

if you want something then go 4 it, and obvioulsy u want this girl so i would give it a try if i were you. u sound like a nice guy im sure she'll go out with you.

Yes you should! It is always great when it starts off as just friends! The trust is already there, but you don't want to get stuck in the friends zone too long or that is where you will stay! Do it soon!

Well first off have you flirted with her? has she flirt back?. Second i think you should ask her on a casual date, and see how things go, if she wants a boyfriend i am sure she'll be pretty clear about it! good luck!

if you are good freinds and you do all that stuff together then why not give it a shot. i'm sure she likes you and if she says no then you can still be freinds, but yeah, ask her and i go for there personality, i dont go for hot girls. i asked 1 of my good freinds out and she said yeah so why not give it a shot.

i think you should ask her. the worst thing she can say is no, and that doesn't mean she doesn't want to be freinds. then at least you'll know. and then the answer may be yes, and you two can have a good relationship you know.
