tomi :::::: how does that deserve a duh!!! some people will put up with anything because they would rather be with someone and miserable than venture into the world alone have you even known such feeling ?

Definitely alone and happy. A lot of people cling on to a relationship for years after it has died, just because they are scared of being alone. When they eventually make the decision to go they realize the time they've wasted !

ALONE and HAPPY!!!!!!
No one is really alone, we all have friends to one degree or another. Friends are those who you can get into trouble with and the only person you have to answer to is yourself.
To be with someone and miserable may mean having to live up to another expectations of how you should be or upsetting them because they don't like the way you brush your teeth and in one case of a coworker going through a divorce, claim of mental cruelty because he refused to buy a new washer and dryer because the old ones didn't match in color. No joke, it was listed in the divorce petition along with other such nonsense for grounds.

Alone & happy every time!
Tried the be with someone when our son was born and we were both miserable.
We don't get on too well now but we're both far happier and have a well adjusted (fingers crossed) little boy, who is far better off that he's parents split up rather than stay together and be miserable.

I could never be happy alone, but at the same time my relationships usually carry a lot of pain with me, but at least then I know by the end of the day I will have someone in my arms to tell me she loves me and I can tell her I love her back.
Long Distance relationships are especially painful, but at least you still have someone to talk to (when you can)

alone and happy you can do bad all by yourself having someone does not mean that person will define who you are and bring you everlasting joy and I make me happy all the live long day
