I'm sorry to hear that you have had such troubles and are at the end of your rope. I wish there were something I could do to make a significant difference, but I don't think the few words any of can write will make much impact. You need to find a Christian or two who care about you in person, not here on the net. God really does love you and wants you to get through your problems and his intent is not to toy with you. You must remember that there is one who loves to toy with you, satan, and if you think he is just a cartoon or joke, then you're wrong. And of course, trouble is always a part of this world and everyone has troubles come over them. The only difference is that being a Christian, we are not alone. If you feel alone then maybe you have not really turned toward God the way that you think you have. Only a lot of discussion with someone who understands God and understands you can help you sort this out. So please find someone to discuss this with in person.

Welcome to life. I have struggled for years with the same basic thoughts you are having. Yet, I know for a fact that God has seen me through. As Paul noted, he had wealth and poverty, good times and bad, hard times and easy - yet he conceded, "His grace is sufficient for me."
I know one thing. What I struggle with on this earth is temporal. I also have come to know that what I deem important is not really that important. Is it important that I have a 6 bedroom 3 and a half bath house? Or, is it important that I have a house sufficient enough to shelter my family? Do I need a new car, or a dependable car? In the long run, am I striving for what God wants for me?
I do struggle with these issues of, "What is God up to?" from time to time. I have even told God, "If you don't do this, I quit!" Now, I have been saved for over 30 years and I am also a deacon in my church. Some would say I shouldn't have such thoughts. But, many people do. It is just a matter of calming down, realizing what is true and claiming that God's grace is sufficient for me.

The God you are describing is not the God of the Bible. Read Bible passages about God and be reminded of His true character.
Also, keep in mind the following verses:
"No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it." (1 Corinthians 10:13)
"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?
"And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." (Matthew 6:25-34)

You sound just like me...The only conclusion that I've come up with is that God is a character some person made up to make him or herself feel better. I've lost everything that ever ment anything important to me and still losing.
Go ahead, tell me like everyone else, that I don't know what I'm talking about. Go ahead. i know a few of you want too. I know that you want to tell me how I have this computer and a hous to live in. But who ever said that this was important to me?
I would give up my house, my life, just to be able to chenge time. I prayed every night to some God and all things did was get worse until I had nothing left. Now I'm stuck begging him to fix me. And he can't even do that for me...

For 1 hour assume that God does not exist. Look at the world, at the way the universe works, at the way people interact.
Now for 1 hour assume an all powerful, all knowing and all loving God exists. Again, look at the world, at the way the universe works, at the way people interact.
Now. Which assumption made more sense? Note, I am not asking which assumption made you feel better, or was nicer, just which one fitted better with the reality of the universe?
To me the universe only makes sense in the absence of a Christian God. It can make it seem like a cold callous place, but that is reality. No amount of believing that the Care Bears are going to come and spread a rainbow of happiness is actually going to make it happen. No amount of faith in God is going to make him suddenly real.

There is a scripture that says "Who the Lord loveth, he chastenth." And he also says that he will take you through the fire and refine you as silver. Trusting in God doesn't mean we get a cushy ride through life, but is does mean that God is always there and is able to know every hair on our heads. It is easy to have faith when things are going right. The test comes when things are hard and we have to wait for the fulfillment of promises. God promised Abraham that his posterity would be as the sands of the sea and through that posterity all the world would be blessed. Then Abraham had to wait until he was 100 years old and his wife was barren until she was 90. And then God asked him to take his only begotten son Isaac to Mount Moriah and sacrifice him. God tested Abraham and he did not give up his faith nor stop his obedience when things got hard.
God's promises are sure. He sees things from a different vantage point than you do, all things are present with the Lord. Hang in there he knows better than you do. Faith preceeds the miracle and the signs.

I had some very low times last year. I was almost one of the foreclosure statistics. Are you worshiping God? Going to church? I do not ask God for what I want as God knows what I need. Keep on the path and God will help.

There is power in prayer. Pray. God hears and answers all prayers, just not always in the way you may want they answered, but in a way which is best for you. He knows what we need before we ask. But you need to ask in order to receive.
If you feel you life is difficult right now, we all endure hardships at times. Read Job in the Bible. He endured many hardships. Maybe his courage will give you strength to endure hardships in your own life.
I do believe turning away from, or doubting God when you have difficulties in your life would be a mistake as that's when you need him the most. Please pray.
May God bless you, have mercy on you, and grant you peace.

I can understand your frustration. However, I'm certain God is ready and waiting to help you in every way possible to reach your potential. You may not be seeing the help or you may be resisting it.
The reason you may not be seeing it is that earth life is not about simply making the cut between heaven and hell. It's about growth in ourselves and those we can help. Sometimes growth is painful.
God won't give you more than you can handle. Trust that your Heavenly Father cares for you and take the time (e.g., quiet meditation, scripture study, prayer) to hear his recommendations. He doesn't shout at us, but will quietly guide us in the most productive direction, from His perspective.

Why is it that God gets blamed for everything and satan gets a free ride? You should remember the story of Job, God let him suffer through trials and troubles, which tested his faith to the fullest. In the end his faith was rewarded a hundred times over.
God will never give you more than you can handle even though it feels like it will break you at the time. Hang in there, bad times never last but strong people do.
