Not at all. You know what you want. It's good that you are taking care of your needs before you try to add another person into your life. Everyone has different priorities and I find it very admirable that you want to strengthen your mental and spiritual being first. I take it a lot of people could learn a thing or two from you. But this is totally rational and don't rush into things (like dating) if there are other things higher on your agenda.

No, you are not strange that you want to be single. No sure about websites that singles can get courage from. Just be yourself when you are looking for the opposite sex.

NO there is nothing wrong with choosing to be single. It may not be looked upon as something that's "normal" in India, but here, in the US, its cool. You chose how you'd like to live, its your life. Dont let other people dictate your life for you, you wont be happy if you do.

No you are not strange!!! Marriage is not for everyone, if more people accepted that their lives would be a lot better. You have to do what feels right for YOU, no matter what the "norm" is or what is expected. Enjoy your life they way it is meant for you to enjoy it.

Indian or polanese or irish. It doesnt matter what remote nookie of the globe your from its all the same. There are people who get used to being alone so they go with that. Its understandable though, i dont need people and there are times where i feel that people would just dilute the experience.

Call me crazy or whatever its just my 2c's :)

I don't think it's strange at all. In fact, it's good that you know this about yourself and accept it instead of trying to make yourself be someone you're not. That way, not only would you be making yourself unhappy but another person too.

Not at all. It's great to be single and have girlfriends. remember that a wife is a life long commitment and that you have to be ready to stick with it. Be free while you can.

Every person comes to a point in life when thy realize where they are and where they want to be. And seance you are trying to get where you want to be, it's natural to not want to be with anybody. But once you get situated I think you will want to settle down with that one person.
