It's in the back, right?

Remove the nut on the top of the fender. It may be hex-shaped or have notches in it. The notched type can often be removed with thin needle nosed pliers. Spread the pliers and insert the tips into two notches in the nut. Just be careful not to slip and scratch the paint.

Remove the carpet in the trunk by the antenna. There is usually one or two (probably 10mm) bolts securing the motor. Unplug the electrical connector and slide the antenna out.

using pliers gently turn off the chrome nut on the antennia then grab the end of the mast and pull up. There will be resistance if the mast drive cable is good if the drive is broken it will pull out easy. The motor will run when the radio is turned on feel the motor. and run when the radio is turned off. No motor run your complete antennia/motor needs replacing. If the motor runs and the mast pulled out easily you will have to remove the broken mast cable out of the motor. Really not hard after the top chrome nut is off pull back the gray inner-fender cover in the trunk and remove the car jack and the antennia black wire plug take 2 10mm bolts out unplug the motor pull the drain hose off the botom of the antennia then unplug the white connector out of the black motor little push down plastic part on side the plug. take the black plastic apart 6 small #1 philips screws. under the cover is a reel that wraps the mast drive dig all that old greasy mast drive out reassemble the reel black cover hook up the drain hose stick the motor thru the frnder and just start the chrome nut and fender black plastic part plug in the antennia plug and power plugs. Now find a friend to turn on the radio. The antennia motor runs? take the chrome nut back off and with the newly purchased nissan mast unpack it twist off the twist ties look at the mast it might have a black ball with white o ring if so remove the tube in the mast hole with the ball on the end now feed the white plastic mast cable down the mast hole have friend turn off the radio and the mast should be grabbed and taken into the tube. It might take a couple on and off to get the mast cable to catch and grab..The mast might not go in all the way the first time push the metal antennia into the hole drop the chrome nut in and finger tighten it turn radio on and the mast should extend all the way and retract all the way when turned off. Then carefully tighten the chrome nut replace the gray inner fender liner and jack. Have fun! The mechanic at the dealer will charge about 80 to 90 dollars for above.

If the antenna is snapped off and the motor nonetheless works, you are able to eliminate the nut/retainer ring that holds the antenna on the motor vehicle and then turn on the radio and stroll the antenna out of the motor assembly. purchase a clean antenna on the broker, evaluate the dimensions of the plastic lead related to the antenna, if it is the comparable length, line up the enamel interior the comparable course because of the fact the previous one and turn off the radio as you feed the recent antenna into the motor. If the plastic leads are distinctive lengths it potential there is slightly the previous antenna interior the motor assembly and the motor ought to come out and be disassembled to eliminate the previous plastic lead.

Check any wires that might have come loose. Also the fuse should be under the left driver side dash panel. To remove it, there is a special tool to hold the 2 slots on top but if you are good, you can use a flathead screwdriver.
