If so, who is it dedicated to? What is it like, and did it cost you a lot to set up? Do you worship at it? What is it's role in your life?

Yes. It's right here in my home office. There is a Crucifix and two votive candle lights. On the wall above it is an icon of the San Damiano Crucifix (the one from St. Francis' Church in Assisi) and an icon of the Blessed Virgin Mary as Theotokos. On either side of the Crucifix are two Angels, flying aside the Cross. On either side of the Angels are two icons...one of Christ as Pantocrator...and the other of the Theotokos. On the pillar to the right of the altar is an iconostasis with icons of the Last Supper, Christ Blessing, the Blessed Virgin Mary and Christ Child surrounded by angels and St. Francis of Assisi (Francis is my wife's Confirmation name.)

It is here that I read the Daily Officium Divinum (the Daily Offices)

I've had the basic Altar for almost 50 years...my Grandfather made it for me. The icons I have collected over the years and they all mean something. The Angels I got somewhere up in the Bay Area when I was traveling.

Yes, in my room, under the window on the North wall.

It is dedicated to my spirituality in general and changes with the seasons/holidays. It has symbols of the four elements and the divine as well. It was an ongoing process so I don't know how much it cost, since I did it in pieces.

I meditate, pray, perform spells/rituals, and simply reflect on it. It is central to my room.

Some people worship the TV set. Others, a computer. Just depends on where you set your affection. If God comes second, it's an idol.

No, I don't have an altar at home. I praise God and worship Him wherever I am. I am not ashamed of Him.

I would... if we had more room to spare hahaha. We're a wee bit cramped here with 4 people, 1 dog, 1 cat, and furniture squished into our cute little four-room trailer.

anywhere I go is an altar because of what Jesus has done for all of us. I am altar-ed whenever I confess my inadequacy and ask God for help.
